Green Spring Tennis and Educational Foundation (GSTEF)
is hosting a
FREE day of tennis clinics!

The event will be held at the new Johns Hopkins University tennis courts at the Homewood campus on Sunday April 26 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

  • Tennis pros from Green Spring Racquet Club (GSRC) will facilitate  tennis for all ages
  • For younger juniors USTA 10-And-Under Tennis instruction
  • Meet the GSRC mascots Quicko and Quicka
  • Face-painting will be offered
  • Older juniors and adults can get a fun and healthy cardio tennis workout!
  • There will be racquets to borrow or bring your own
  • Make sure to wear your tennis sneakers
  • Miss Twist ice cream truck will provide free ice cream
  • Delectable goodies like Sofi’s Crepes of Owings Mills will be served

The Miss Rose Tennis Day is in memory of Rose Wieczorek, the mother of GSTEF founder Janet Paulsen

GSTEF is very proud of the young women who have come together to create this day of free tennis.

The Foundation’s Girls’ Focus Group consists of female junior players ages 13-16. They are teaming up with the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) girls’ nationally ranked tennis team. The JHU players help to mentor the girls in the Focus Group.
